As my inspiration I used an image from Versace 2010
I was sent to try a brand of make up called Enhance by Natural Compatibles. Enhance by Natural Compatibles is an Australian made, mineral enriched make-up brand that has been enhancing the natural beauty of Australian women for over 17 years.
Sarah Patricia, international model and make-up artist is independent of Natural Compatibles and is also the artist in the video below and works with Natural Compatibles for demonstrations and testings. She has also recently featured in Megan Gales swimwear launch, Peter Morrissey campaign, David Jones Fashion show and more.
I tried the "Smokey Eye" look this morning before heading to work, which you can see a step-by-step in the video below. The products are fantastic, and even though I am not a fan of foundation person the "Wet and Dry" foundation I was given is incredibly light and smooth on your skin. I was a bit reluctant to the colour palette for my eyes, as they are mainly pink and purple and I am not used to using these types of shades. This is definately something I will continue to use, perhaps not on a daily basis but more for the special occasion. And the fact that they are all mineral based means it gets my vote. The make-up tutorials are great (and I can spend hours watching people apply make up to others... I find it strangely fascinating...) - you can find them all on their YouTube channel.

What a night!
I was struggling out of bed (extra early too) this morning after an absolutely amazing night with Peeptoe Shoes @ Kit and Kaboodle, Sydney. Upon arrival we recieved "Cointreau Blushes" and were greeted with a room decked out to the max - Miami style. The atmosphere, the music and yes - even the heat contributed to a fast paced shoe filled HEAVEN with beautiful people, stunning heels and sassy accessories.
I had a chance to meet a little part of the Peeptoe team - beautiful girls with incredible dedication and obviously a passion for shoes. I cannot thank Peeptoe enough for giving me and my bestie the time of our lives last night! Fell fast and hard as soon as I lay eyes on DJ Havana Brown, I've listened to the CRAVE CD's for a while and noticed how beautiful she is - but oh so F*$& YEA amazing in reality. Put this little collage together last night for today, heading home soon to get ready. I've chosen my John Zack open back lace dress, which I've (hardly) only worn once (for like 2 hours), teaming that with a pair of nude heels, silver and black details. What do you lovelies think?

I found out today that I am the WINNER of Peeptoe's very own Home Grown Blog Competition! I am beyond excitment and would like to thank the team at Peeptoe for giving me this push in the right direction and for believing in me ♥
The prize includes an invite to their new Summer line launch, which is tomorrow. I am so excited. I have been trying to figure out what dress to wear... The worst part is (read: best part) - the SHOES! I actually don't own a pair of Peeptoe shoes, I was thiiiiis close to buying a pair called MISS SYDNEY at their warehouse sale, but they had run out of my size. But I guess when amazing shoes like that go on sale they absolutely fly out the window. Hm. Perhaps I can fall in love with a pair tomorrow...

I had a bit of fun with one of the last nights of Autumn. Spring starts next week, and I'm celebrating with strawberries for breakfast. Spring for me means a fresh start - mind, body and soul.
