headphones by BREO x

So sittin' here by my lonesome. Being stupid.

I have a few photos to share with you shortly from the L'Oreal Hair Show (Balayage a la Copacabana) which I did last week. A lot of fun and loving my new hair - it's "very" blonde and takes a bit of getting used to. But whatevs, hello S U M M E R

Whooop what a cool ending to a Thursday. Me and my beautiful Bee headed down to RedBull HQ for the launch of Katalyst's new album DEEP IMPRESSIONS (live), which is out now to buy here. Bumped into Mitch from Life Without Andy (a lot of love) and spoke to Justin from Skullcandy (a lot of love there too). Bedtime came too early as I had busy times ahead of me the next day with the L'Oreal hair showing and a whole lot of work, but you do what you have to do.

Great music, cool people and just a good night. And RedBull. I like RedBull. Do you wanna share a RedBull? Maybe we can share a RedBull. I like RedBull.

Freaks...

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Miranda Kerr

These two.
Walking perfection. Miranda's look is exactly what I want to be strutting around in all summer long... leather shortsies and a basic white tee. Perfect.

Last weekend was good fun. Our Melbournian's were over so we had to show them that Sydney really is a better place... And I think, hope that I might just have convinced at least one of them.

Even if I waddled home in a cab with a bruised knee (don't ask), blisters on my feet and in sliiiiight pain from dancing (yes, I am very well aware of my age...) it was just a good night. And what a view x

Just the bag, thanks

BAGS! Oh these bags are beyond beautiful, I am drooling slightly over the tie-dye one in blue. Just perfect for summer. That fact that they are big and bold makes it all the better. And also have removable lining - handy for clearing out all that sand and unwanted bits and bobs. They come in a range of prints, and also in two different sizes (L and XL) - so one for beach, one for weekend getaway... yea please. And just to top it off the bag actually comes with a waterproof iPod case. Finally, I can bring a good looking bag to the beach, play my music and soak up the sun.

I might just click one my way... from www.maryandmariesop.com

Ride On.

It was a tragic end to an otherwise exciting Moto GP 2011 on Sunday, when Marco Simoncelli had a crash that took his life.

On 23 October 2011, Simoncelli was involved in an accident with Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi during the 2011 Malaysian GP at the Sepang International Circuit. In fourth position during lap two, Simoncelli's bike veered across the track and straight into the path of Edwards and Rossi. Edwards was injured with a dislocated shoulder, while Simoncelli lay still on the track after the crash, his helmet having come off during the incident. The race was immediately red-flagged. He was taken by ambulance to the circuit's medical centre, but at 16:56 local time it was announced that he had died from his injuries.

As a rider with a love for the sport, my thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. It's just not fair when such a young, talented rider has his life taken. Rest in Peace Marco x

Happiness

Monday, 17 October 2011

Finally - a weekend with a bit of down time, good friends, a lot of laughs. This is what weekends are supposed to be, or rather I think so, it's been so long so I'm not sure what a proper weekend is supposed to feel like. Now back to the drawing board - so much to get through this week. Heading up to the Christmas season (can you believe it..?) there is a lot to get through. But at least the weekend to come is something to look forward to. And of course the Def Leppard concert.

Wihoooo party time.
